Remastered Darksiders 2: Definitive Edition might be coming to PS4

Looks like the Remasters fever might be reaching the second game of the underlooked franchise Darksiders which went into hiatus after THQ closed its doors back in 2013.

Darksiders II: Definitive Edition has appeared on Amazon for Playstation 4 with no real announcement or additional info but being a title in development for PS4 with the price tag of $40. Release date as it stands currently is December 31 (which is the default release date for unlisted releases on Amazon so no real date is there yet). Nordic Games now own the franchise and they revealed earlier last year that it’s not dead yet and a third game will be made as soon as a vision is found to start working on. So providing Darksiders 2: Definitive Edition is met with a warm welcome we expect that it would fund a third game in the series.

Many more games have appeared as well including Legend of Kay HD, The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 and MX vs. ATV Supercross Encore Edition. They all have the same imaginary release date of December 31.

Darksiders 2 released on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2012.
