More and more delays come into the light this year. After Sony’s Uncharted 4 and Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda here’s Microsoft’s turn in joining the list of titles delayed until next year. Quantum Break, one of the key exclusives of Xbox One, is now scheduled to release in 2016.
Remedy Games announced the delay today, saying it’ll allow the developers to polish and refine the game more.
“We are very proud to be part of the amazing line-up Xbox One,” said Lake. “We thank our fans for their patience, and we want them to know that the team takes this opportunity to polish and refine the game to create an entertainment experience out of the ordinary. ”
This is the second time, or should we say, the second year with a delay hitting Quantum Break. It was originally slated for a 2014 release before being delayed into 2015 and now we won’t be seeing it until 2016.
