One of the best football players of all time will be attending League of Legends’ MSI closing ceremony this season, as two-times world cup winner Ronaldo revealed.
The ex-Brazil player had revealed a couple of months back that he acquired %50 shares in CNB e-sports Club, and now it looks like Ronaldo’s passion for League of Legends will take him to the Mid-Season Invitational as a guest today May 21.
The star revealed he’s knowledgeable of the esports phenomenon and he’s loving it, saying that it provides a platform that gathers thousands around the world together and he’s happy being part of that scene, getting to know teams and tournaments up close.
“Esports is already a reality around the world, bringing together thousands of players and fans, and Brazil is increasingly moving towards being a power to be reckon with, just as in soccer and in many other sports.” says Ronaldo
The Brazilian legend was one of the most accomplished players in the world of soccer, with two World Cup titles to his name. The player has also won plenty of domestic titles in world famous squads around the world including Real Madrid and A.C. Milan.
