Al Hilal FC announces first eSports team of its kind in the Middle East

With steady steps in the direction of eSports recognition in the region, one of the biggest sports team has revealed that it’s signing with several video game pros in Saudi Arabia to represent it on the global stage

Al Hilal FC new announcement comes shortly after KSA had shown serious interest in eSports, as its “SAFEIS KSA” association held a number of tournaments and is working on providing more tools and services to pro gamers. Today, the club is the first of its kind to have its own eSports team just like other global examples including Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.

The new step comes with the aim to follow the latest trends in video game scene in the region, as well as spreading the culture of competitive gaming that has been rising in fame recently.

More details will be revealed at a later date in a press conference, according to the eSports team led by “Abd alrahman al sbaie” in guidance of the board council with “Sami Jaber” at the helm.
