Apex Legends EXP Invitational tournament concludes with an NA winner

Last weekend has seen the start of one of the most prestigious Apex Legends tournaments this year, with North America’s famous TeamSoloMid (TSM) winning the title and $30,000 prize

The three TSM players Jordan “Reps” Wolfe, Mac “Albraleli” Kenzie and Philip “ImperialHal” Dosen managed to maintain their strong performance on the second day, proving to everyone that they deserved their place as some of the best players in Apex Legends, although they reached fifth place as an average of all their matches, but their steady performance on the second day gave them an additional 62 points to win.

TSM’s strategy was not to eliminate as many enemies as possible, but the players went on to pursue advanced positions instead of violent play, which ensured them the greatest number of points. The number of kills for the team on the second day was only 11 compared to the first day when they scored 30 kills.

The biggest contender for the US team was Sentinels, who on the second day managed to advance 11 places up to the third place, but it was put in place in the final round by TSM and winning second place to secure the tournament. Sentinels, with 89 points in just one day, was worthy of respect and appreciation.

Team Reciprocity, who eventually finished second overall behind TSM, has given us many surprises as well, surpassing a number of the most famous teams for possessing the likes of Eric “Snip3down” Wrona, a player who won the gold medal at Halo 5 in the Aspen X Championship Games.

The most widely used legends in the tournament were Wraith, Pathfinder and Wattson, who proved to be the most powerful in attack, defense and tactics. That’s what TSM used to reach their first position, so you may have to choose those legends with your team the next time you play.

The Apex Legends event was part of the return of X Games to the world of esports after three years of absence, and it was the biggest LAN tournament without a doubt for Apex, which has been suffering from a lack of competitive events since its launch so far. The next big event will inevitably be Apex Preseason Invitational in Krakow, Poland, from 13 to 15 September.
