The North American Street Fighter pro player Du “NuckleDu” Dang made history last night when he managed to beat Ricki Ortiz in the finals 3-1 to become the first NA player to win this international cup.
Not only that, The 20-year old is also the youngest participant to ever win the event losing only 3 games on his journey to the grand prize. $230,000 is now in the bank for Du as the winner of the biggest prize in fighting games history.
NuckleDu beat Miky “Samurai” Chae, Kun-ho “Xian” Xian, Zuhojun “Xiao Hai” Zeng and Egami “MOV” Joe and Ortiz as part of his historical performance. Congratulations Du!
