ELEAGUE Major 2018 New Champions stage set to start soon

The match train was certainly quick, and probably faster than some teams could bear, even though the first phase of the ELEAGUE Major 2018, known as the Challengers Stage, had passed.

Quantum Bellator Fire are through to the playoffs at the ELEAGUE Major after coming back from 13-2 to win 16-14 on Train against mousesports in the New Legends Stage.

Cloud9 are through to the fifth round of the ELEAGUE Major’s New Legends Stage after easing past Astralis 16-6 on Train.

Vega Squadron have made it to the ELEAGUE Major’s New Legends Stage fifth round after defeating Liquid 16-12 on Inferno.

SK secured their third victory at the New Legends Stage of the Major, beating Gambit 16-10 on Overpass to advance to the playoffs.

Natus Vincere grabbed their third win of the New Legends Stage and booked a ticket for Boston by defeating fnatic 16-7 on Inferno.

Defending Major champions Gambit have been sent packing in Atlanta following a 16-2 thrashing at the hands of fnatic in the fifth round of the New Legends Stage.

Cloud9 have booked their spot in the ELEAGUE Major playoffs following a comprehensive 16-4 victory over Vega Squadron.

mousesports have secured the final spot in the ELEAGUE Major Boston’s knockout rounds after defeating Space Soldiers by a 16-13 scoreline.

The last-eight stage will also feature an interesting all-CIS clash as Natus Vincere will take on the surprise package of the tournament, Quantum Bellator Fire.

Below you can find the draw in full:

FaZe vs. mousesports
Natus Vincere vs. Quantum Bellator Fire
G2 vs. Cloud9
SK vs. fnatic

After two tournament phases held at the ELEAGUE Arena, in Atlanta, the Major will now move to Boston, where the Agganis Arena, a 7,200-seat arena, will stage the knockout rounds from January 26-28.

Tickets to the ELEAGUE Major playoffs can be purchased on the event’s official website. For a limited time, fans can get 25% off ticket price by using the promo code “code25”.

ELEAGUE has revealed the match-ups for the quarter-final stage of the ELEAGUE Major Boston.

The draw for the quarter-finals has thrown up a titanic battle in the form of G2 versus Cloud9, two teams who faced each other in the first round of the New Legends Stage, when Richard “shox” Papillon’s men ran out 16-8 winners.

FaZe and SK have been drawn on opposite ends of the bracket, which means they cannot face each other before the final. The Brazilians will take on fnatic in the quarter-finals, while Finn “karrigan” Andersen’s men will tackle mousesports.
