Cloud9 is the latest invited team to iBUYPOWER Masters 2019

The officials of iBUYPOWER Masters 2019 have revealed the first list of participating professional teams, which are only some of the best teams around the world.

The ELEAGUE Major Boston champions are the sixth team confirmed for the event, joining the likes of Astralis, FaZe and Ghost, with only two invitees now left to reveal.

The announcement comes during a turbulent time for Cloud9, who have been credited with an interest in Gage “Infinite”Green as Maikil “Golden” Selim could miss the IEM Katowice Major because of medical concerns.

The tournament will begin with a best-of-one double-elimination group stage, followed by the single-elimination playoffs with the top two teams from both groups.

The team list for the event currently looks as follows:

  • Astralis
  • fnatic
  • Ghost
  • Luminosity
  • FaZe
  • Cloud9
