One Unreal Engine 4 developer remade Red Alert 2 as a virtual reality game

Have you been missing C&C lately? Soon you might have a chance at playing the closest thing to a new Red Alert game, but in a whole different perspective. A VR one, to be specific.

As an experiment to show how RTS games can be done in Virtual Reality one developer took it upon himself to remake the famous Red Alert 2 inside Unreal Engine 4 as a VR game, taking advantage of platforms like HTC Vive to implement touch controls and movement detection.

The game is still in development, and knowing that Red Alert is an EA trademark we doubt it would see the light of the day in its current state. However, the point still stands, which is to see how RTS fares with VR vision.
