PSN is down due to a DDOS attack

Sony’s PlayStation Network is reportedly offline as the time of writing this news.

A group that goes by the name of “@LizardSquad ” claimed responsible for the attack, other services like Blizzard’s Battle.net, Riot’s League of Legends, Guild Wars, and Path of Exile have been attacked.

We’ll have to wait for these services to go back online, some of them already did.

DDOS Attack is basically a hacking method that relays on flooding servers with a huge amount, causing it to go down. this isn’t the first time PSN has been down because of a hacking method, we’ve all seen that happen last year too but Sony apologized to fans and gave away Free Games for the subscribers in return (let’s hope this happens again this time,eh? ).
