Gamers Unite Beirut tournament announced with $50k prize pool – Register now!

Mindwhisk has revealed details about their anticipated Gamers Unite Beirut tournament, which is going to be one of the biggest esports tournaments this year to bring Arab players across the world together


The new tournament will be held in several games including Dota 2, CS: GO, PUBG (Steam) and PUBG Mobile, and will allow Arab players to compete through online qualifiers that will be held from April to June 2019.

More than $50,000 in prize pool will be allocated to the various tournaments in these games, with a chance of winning gaming hardware valued at $1,000 for one lucky player.

Qualifiers start dates and prize pools:

  • PUBG (Steam) – 4 May – $26,000
  • PUBG (Mobile) – 1 June- $10,000
  • CS: GO – 20 April – $8,000
  • Dota 2 – 6 April – $10,000

Players can register from anywhere around the world, as qualifiers will be played online. In the event of Arab teams from outside Lebanon (Gulf, Levant, North Africa) making it through the qualifiers and into the finals of Dota 2 and/or CS: GO, Mindwhisk will offer a free trip for players with a two-nights stay in the Lebanese capital of Beirut where the main event will be held, while all teams, regardless of where they are from, will be competing in the PUBG finals online.

The main event will take place on July 17-21 at the New Biel arena in Beirut, where 80 PCs equipped with the greatest and latest tech and equipments will be available for the players to play on in a huge exhibition that will offer a variety of activities for gamers.
