Continuing its approach to releasing new content for the newest fighting game in the popular series Mortal Kombat, Warner Bros. revealed the latest addition to Mortal Kombat 11 coming from developers NetherRealm in the form of a pleasant surprise for old players, namely the return of the classic Friendships finishers
If you are not a veteran Mortal Kombat fan, the series is known for having several different finishing moves in its games that were released in the nineties, and one of the most notable was Friendships, which depict the bloody characters who fought to death in a cute and funny way, showing them spending a fun time with their friends from the game world after winning the match.
From Liu Kang dance on the disco floor, to Sindel shattering the wine cup, all the way through Jax’s saxophone solo, all Mortal Kombat 11 players will be able to see the different finishers of the game characters when the update is released for free on May 26 as part of the promotion of Mortal expansion New Kombat 11: Aftermath.
The free update includes new Stage Fatalities, a new Dead Pool area, Soul Chamber stages, Kronika’s Keep and RetroKade stages. On the other hand, the Aftermath expansion that will be released at the same time contains three playable characters (Fujin, Sheeva and RoboCop) in addition to three skin packs for three characters and a “Thanks a Million” costume for Johnny Cage.
You will get an additional “Eternal Klash” skin pack if you pre-order the game, which includes costume characters for Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Frost. You can learn all the details by visiting the official website here.
