OG enters CS: GO scene with some of the best players in the game

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams should be wary, as one of the top esports organization OG has finally announced its arrival to the competitive CS: GO arena with some of the world’s best players after a long wait.

The most famous organization in the world of Dota 2, which achieved the title of the International 9, the most expensive in the history of esports, has revealed what we were waiting for after weeks of rumors circulated by esports experts, as the organization has acquired a number of great players from other teams.

It was announced that Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt, former Vitality star, Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen, former ENCE captain, Issa “ISSA” Murad of HellRaisers and Mateusz ”mantuu” Wilczewski of ALTERNATE aTTaX, have all joined OG to form the new squad.

“CS:GO represents everything we cherish about esports: it is spectacular and amazing to watch, the level of competition is unbelievable and increases every season,” OG said.

OG’s talks with these players date back a few months ago, as Valentin “poizon” Vasilev was also in the talks along with Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen, but “poizon” made the decision to join Complexity while “Jamppi” was abandoned for having an old VAC-banned account, OG’s choice then fell on the players of the current squad announced today.

There’s a lot on the line for OG’s new CS: GO lineup led by Aleksib, as he was one of the main reasons for the success of ENCE. With this entry, OG is the third large esports organization this year to enter the arena of the famous competitive shooting game, joining Evil Geniuses that signed former NRG lineup and 100 Thieves, who acquired the previous Renegades lineup.

With the OG news confirmed, attention is now shifting towards Dignitas, which is planning to return to the competitive arena with a lineup that includes Swedes Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg and Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund.
