Popular streamer “xQc” is participating in Overwatch World Cup 2019

The famous Twitch personality and one of the most popular overwatch players “xQc” will return to the competitive arena with the Overwatch World Cup this year, despite his current streaming career

 

 

Felix “xQc” Lengyel earned his international fame thanks to the multiplayer shooting game Overwatch with his representation of Canada two years ago as they reached the final at the time. Despite the great performance at the 2018 version of the tournament,”xQc” exited Overwatch League and announced becoming a full-time streamer through Twitch. This has made his fans wonder whether they will see him in another professional Overwatch match in the future.

Fortunately, it was confirmed that “xQc” will return as part of the same lineup from last year to represent the Canadian team in this international event. The same lineup that managed to defeat France 3-0 and reach the quarterfinals before losing to China in the previous edition of the tournament.

The former Dallas Fuel player will have to prove himself again as one of the best players in the world, as The 2019 World Cup will be his first competition in a year since he left the scene to focus on his new career.

The Canadian team has qualified automatically as one of the top 10 teams in the last tournament, while the rest of the international teams wishing to participate from outside the top ten will need to go into the qualifiers ahead of Blizzcon on November 1 at the Anaheim Convention Center , Which will witness the finals of several tournaments in Blizzard’s games.
