Spectator mode to be added for NBA 2K16 upcoming tournaments

2K Sports have announced today that a new spectator mode will debut this weekend for fans to watch tournament matches of NBA 2K16 straight from their consoles, starting from Road to the Finals.

The new mode, called “StreamCast” will allow players to freely watch either live games or recorded after they finish. Sadly, the spectator mode only works for matches of official tournaments so you can’t watch your friends or family just yet.

Anyway, 16 teams will face off in the single-elimination Road to the Finals tournament this Saturday May 21. The top two teams will then meet in the $250,000 championship held in June, timed to take place alongside the real-world NBA Finals. The StreamCast feature will be available to download on the same day for PS4 and Xbox One.
