The second night of the huge E3 2019 conference has ended, and with it came several interesting announcements from Microsoft and some from Bethesda conference, including surprising announcements. Did you miss it? Then here’s the Top 10 announcements of the night
The first major announcement from the Microsoft conference came from the recently acquired Ninja Theory studio. New exclusive game called the Bleeding Edge, which was described as a competitive melee title is to be released soon with a trial phase on June 27. See the trailer above.
The following trailer is for a whole new game for Microsoft platforms, Blair Witch. This upcoming horror game based on the movie’s events of the same name will be released on August 30th and is available for pre-purchase starting now. Although we have not seen gameplay yet, it does look really interesting.
Perhaps the most prominent announcement at the conference, and perhaps even in the whole E3, CD Projekt RED studio revealed a completely new trailer for its dazzling Cyberpunk 2077 with a great surprise at the end that drove the audience wild: the presence of the beloved John Wick actor Keanu Reeves in the game world as a character. Add to that the announcement of the date of launch on 16 April 2020 for this to become one of the most important trailers of this year.
The upcoming game of Gears of War is just around the corner with the launch date of September 10, and we’ve got a new look for the new “Escape” mode as well as the Terminator: Dark Fate package that players will get when pre-ordering the game. If you subscribe to the newly announced Game Pass Ultimate, you will receive the game four days before it is launched.
What would happen if you took one of the most acclaimed writers of our time and made him oversee a game that follows a style of gameplay that millions of people around the world love? The answer is Elden Ring: The new game from Dark Souls developers, which follows the story of George R. R. Martin in the world of this new game, providing an unrivaled experience that combines Miyazaki’s direction with the epic writing of Game of Thrones series.
Xbox Scarlet & Halo Infinite
The new and awaited Microsoft platform, Project Scarlet, got an official showcase. The successor to the Xbox One will finally be released during the 2020 holiday season. Although we have not yet seen the final form, we have seen a video listing the future platform specification, using an AMD Zen 2 processor and an AMD Navi graphics card, Fast SSD that will dramatically reduce download times, and support for up to 120HZ and 8K resolutions.
The first games to release along with the upcoming console are Halo Infinite, which will put us in the role of Master Chief again in a new adventure after the Covenant defeated humanity. The trailer looks really impressive and will definitely benefit from the new technologies of the Xbox Scarlet, and we can not wait to see more.
Moving on to Bethesda conference, we have a Fallout 76 trailer detailing a new free add-on that will fill the empty game world with human-controlled NPC characters, as the company responds to the demands of the multiplayer title players and finally decided to add them. Not only that, but we’ll also get a Battle Royale style game, whether we like it or not.
A brand-new title from Arkane studios makers of the Dishonored series, players will take the role of one of two assassins on a mission to get rid of each other at whatever cost. The game will have a similar pattern to what we’re used to in Dishonored with a twisted story about going back in a time loop, and despite the lack of detail, the trailer got our attention.
Another surprise we did not expect was GhostWire: Tokyo, the new game from the Tango Gameworks and makers of The Evil Within. We do not have much detail except that it will be an action adventure game from the perspective of one fighter trying to find the truth behind paranormal occurrences in current time Tokyo. See the amazing trailer above.
Last but not least, we have DOOM Eternal the sequel to the successful DOOM 2016 which brought back the famous 3D shooter pioneer to the foreground again. We finally got a launch date of November 22 this year and a preview of Battlemode multiplayer mode, where you can control the demons with a friend against another player who takes the role of DOOM Slayer. You can see the trailer above to see more.
