Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Open Beta start dates revealed along multiplayer trailer

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare got new details on its multiplayer as we were promised with a new trailer showing the harsh reality of war, as well as open beta dates reveal

 

 

 

The new release, which will be closer to a remake or re-imagining than a sequel to our beloved MW series, was announced in May. Since then, many players have wondered what the multiplayer would look like in this return to roots with a modern day warfare, unlike Black Ops 4 last year. The Good News? It looks like it will be great.

In addition to the Gunfight mode, which puts two teams of two players in a classic match, this is our first look at the main multiplayer mode with all its features. Long gone are wing-suits and jetpacks, welcome to the real war with its violence and horror:

If you are then you may be interested to know that the open beta will be launched exclusively on Playstation 4 from September 14 to 16, with those who preorder the game gaining access on 12 September. Other platforms have to wait until September 19 for early access and 21 for the rest, where crossplay between PC and consoles will be available for the first time in a beta phase.

Below is the full list of dates:

  • PlayStation 4 exclusive beta
    • Sept. 12 to 13 (Early access on PS4)
    • Sept. 14 to 16 (Open beta on PS4)
  • Beta featuring crossplay testing
    • Sept. 19 to 20 (Early access on PC and Xbox One, open beta on PS4)
    • Sept. 21 to 23 (Open beta on PS4, PC, and Xbox One)

On the other hand, some of the best players in the world have been given access starting now for a limited time, so you can watch them try the game out through Twitch today. We can not wait to get our hands on the full game when it is released on 25 October for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
